What I’ve noticed lately is how different my son is from the group and from what is usually done. He likes to stand out, not just for the sake of being different, but because he follows his own way rather than the traditional crowd. 

I can even see it in the small things, like the way he places his water bottle on the table after drinking at the taekwondo gym, completely unlike the other athletes. His uniqueness also shines through in his drawings.

Disturbing Incident Experienced By Nemi At His School

Last night, during dinner, my son Nemi was in tears, expressing his unwillingness to go to school. Concerned, we immediately probed the reason behind his distress. To our shock, he revealed that one of his teachers had not only shouted at him but had also resorted to physical aggression, hitting him twice with her hand. The first blow struck his back, and the second landed on his lap.

Naturally, we sought an explanation for such unacceptable behavior from the teacher. Nemi explained that he couldn't finish rewriting Thai letter activities in his book within the allotted time. Although he had diligently worked on the task and was close to completion, he couldn't keep up with the pace. The news filled me with anger, and I felt an intense rush of heat in my head. No teacher should ever treat our son or any student in such a manner.

Edward the Emu, A Dream To See By Our Boy Nemi on His 6th Birthday 2022

One of the books that my son Nemi likes me to read for him is Edward the Emu. A wonderful book with a wonderful moral lesson: be yourself. Edward the Emu was moved by what people said and eventually tried to be someone else. But, he soon discovered that being himself is the best of all.

Now the dream of our son comes true. Here the Emu is saying happy 6th birthday to him.

As parents, we are very much blessed to have Nemi as our only son. He is heaven's gift for us. I remember that he was about to be miscarriage when he was 7 months, but our Almighty Father had favored him. He let him live. We praise the Father Almighty every time we see him. He is a heavenly miracle to us. On your birthday son, we bless you. We pray and declare that you will grow with wisdom, and be favored with man and our Father Almighty. Happiest birthday to you. We love you. We promise that we will do our best to give you the best life and fulfill your heavenly-given destiny.

My son, no words to express how thankful I am to our Abba Father and to your mom for coming into our lives. You did not come with instructions. So I felt called to do so. But several times I made mistakes along the way, and for those, I apologize.

From the time you were born, my heart is yours. Every time I look into your eyes, I saw all my hopes and dreams come resurrected in you. I love you more than you will ever know.

Happy Songkran 2019 Thailand

Introducing to you is our youngest child, Nemi. For him, Songkran is always every day. He is unstoppable. Now that there is no class, he has more chances to play our water faucet at the back. We are already expecting that at the end of this month our water bill would rise up. 

Songkran is always a wonderful season of the year for all Thais and foreigners living in Thailand. It is a Thai new year water festival that takes place from 13-15 of April, the hottest month of the year. Traditionally, Thais pour or splash water to someone as a symbol of happiness, love, empathy, kindness, and for cleansing and wishing for rain to come.
