Entering the New Year 2026 with Trust in the Father Almighty

As I step into the New Year, I carry with me a deep sense of gratitude for how the Father Almighty has led us through the past season. Serving my family, people, studying, and writing research reminded me that ministry is often lived out in ordinary faithfulness: showing up, listening well, and trusting the Father Almighty even when our strength or resources are limited. Along the way, I have learned to slow down, realizing more and more that:

Ministry is not only about only what we do, but about becoming more like the Son: to love, serve, and care as He does. It is not easy, but I try.

Then the flood came in our village. It became a turning point that revealed both our fragility and the nearness of the Father Almighty.

The flood stripped away comfort and exposed vulnerabilities, yet it also revealed deep resilience and compassion. From rescuing families, cleaning homes, and delivering basic necessities, to returning again during the phase of restoration, I witnessed the Emmanuel, the Father Almighty is with us who made known himself through the Son in muddy floors, broken homes, and weary hearts. Even when resources were limited and exhaustion was real, the Father Almighty was our help and our refuge. He was with us through people who stood with us.

Hardships cannot stop our will to serve; they clarify it.

As I look ahead to 2026, I reflect on this promise:

“The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged”
-Deuteronomy 31:8

People and circumstances may change, and others may come and go, but the Father Almighty remains faithful and true. With this assurance, we step into the New Year with renewed trust in Him, committing ourselves to serve with humility, compassion, and perseverance.

Happy New Year 2026 to you and your family. May the Father Almighty bless you with peace, good health, strength, and joy as He leads you in the year ahead.
