Christmas is always the most wonderful season of the year. During this season we have reminded the most significant event in the history of the Basilica that the Transcendence Being took the human flesh in order to reach out to mankind.
That event tells us the commitment of the Father on sharing the family-culture of love that is from heavens to earth. We can now access heaven anytime and whoever is willing can be His sons and daughters and can enjoy the gift of the Father.
Since the beginning of His birth, the nativity carried the influence of the season that is widely celebrated around the world. In fact, the joy we are experiencing is a fulfillment of what the Angel declared, “...I bring the good news of great joy that will be for the people.” (Luke 2:11-12)
Again I was thinking about this. If the Father's purpose was only to save mankind from hell, He could actually do this even without the incarnation of His Son. He created the world from nothing, why not also save mankind from nothing? And one more thing, why He did not send a representative like one of His angels instead of His Son?
The answer is because the Father wanted to make His love more intimate or personal to us, so He chose the best way for us to feel His Persona - His love and intimacy.

He expressed His love with us not only on giving as the everlasting life but also by descending heavens for us. So we would not be only dreaming for future heaven, but also experiencing the reality of present heaven on earth.
We have this joyous season of the year to remind us that He loves us (I John 4:7-8).
