Happy Thai Mother's Day Every August 12

A mother is always ready to give up everything for her children,
because a mother’s love puts her children’s well-being before her own.

Thai Mother’s Day.

For some children, however, Mother’s Day is not a day they choose to celebrate because their mothers are absent from their lives. Some grow up with their grandparents, aunts, uncles, or other relatives. I can only imagine the pain they experience as they grow into adulthood without a mother in their lives.

There are also children who grow up carrying deep pain toward their mothers because of abuse, control, or unrealistic expectations.

During a recent Taekwondo competition, I saw a mother whose son lost his match. Behind us, she scolded him for a long time because he was unable to win and did not deliver enough good kicks against his opponent. I could imagine the boy’s pain.

Some mothers find it difficult to

accept weakness or failure in their children.

And I thank The Father Almighty that my children have been blessed with the opposite. The Father Almighty has gifted them with a caring, loving, and understanding mother.

Today, as I honor my wife, who has given her very best to give our children the best life possible—from carrying them in her womb until now—I also think about and pray for those children who have grown up without a mother, or who have experienced deep pain because of their mothers.

Some of them are crying inside. For them, it may be difficult to honor a mother who caused so much pain during their childhood.

Yes, forgiveness can be very difficult when the wounds are deep.

Sometimes, time heals, but only the love of The Father Almighty can truly heal those wounds.

Happy Mother’s Day to my beloved wife.

Thank you for giving your best for our children and for loving them so deeply.

And Happy Mother’s Day to all Thai mothers.

May The Father Almighty bless you and your children.
