Not Our Doctrines Or Dogmas, But Love

“Righteous Father, though the world does not know you, I know you, and they know that you have sent me. I have made you known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them.”

The above statement is the Son's last prayer before His arrest. This is recorded in John 17. Only John could record this prayer as He was the only one who was so close to Him.

I was reflecting on this, the content of this prayer speaks the conclusion of all the Son's teachings and benevolent deeds; Love should be the core or foundation of the message and action in making Him known and personal to our friends and loved ones. It is not our doctrines or dogmas, but LOVE.
