What Is A Borderless Love?

By Ianpassion

The passage teaches us that love “does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth” (I Corinthians 13:6).

It means, love enables us to hate the evil while valuing the one who committed the act. More simply hate the sin, but love the sinner.

In spite of everything that seems apparent about someone who’s been driven to sinful actions, but still, the Father chose to love him or her with compassion and given with potentials to do good.

Outwardly, it may as a difficult upbringing, a poor treatment, or a negative influence that has corrupted a person’s morality, and worldview; however, for such individuals, the capacity to love and rise above circumstances can get buried so deep that it may seem nonexistent.

The Father still considers the evilest and corrupt person worth loving. How do I know this is true? Because in John3:16—one among the very first verses we teach our children—He said that whoever believes the Son will have eternal life.

Many of us are guilty of thinking we deserve His love because we are better compared to those unlovable ones. And somehow we believed that we deserve more of his love than others because we outperformed them.  But the Father doesn’t work that way. He loves every single person before anything good is found in them.

The Father doesn’t want anyone to mistreat others; such action is sinful that carries disappointments to Him.
The Father extends His care, mercy, and love to anybody without strings attached. No wonder His love is extravagant.
