What I’ve noticed lately is how different my son is from the group and from what is usually done. He likes to stand out, not just for the sake of being different, but because he follows his own way rather than the traditional crowd. 

I can even see it in the small things, like the way he places his water bottle on the table after drinking at the taekwondo gym, completely unlike the other athletes. His uniqueness also shines through in his drawings.

As parents, we are not only responsible for preparing a "nest" for our children, a home where they feel loved, safe, and nurtured...but also for creating a spiritual environment where their beliefs can take root and grow. In a world increasingly shaped by secular culture, digital distractions, and values that drift far from the truth of the Almighty Father, we are called to raise our children intentionally, grounding them in wisdom and higher understanding.

The way we live, the way we offer guidance, the values we embody, and the conversations we have all contribute to shaping our children's spiritual awareness and connection with the Almighty Father.

The Enduring Companionship and Love of the Son: Lessons from My Daughter's Story

When my daughter was six years old, she wrote a story about Briya's pets. Although her English skills weren't good yet, her creativity shone through. The tale featured Tea, a dog, and Present, a rooster, who kept Briya company, echoing the assurance that she was never alone.

Reflecting on this, I saw parallels with the Son's promise to always be with us, akin to the companionship Briya found in her pets. Witnessing her connection with the Son at such a young age, expressed through her writing and drawings, filled me with awe. My hope is for her relationship with the Son to deepen as she grows.

Every December 5 is Father's Day in Thailand, as well as the birthday of the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej. It is a national holiday. Thais celebrate Father's Day by spending time with their fathers, such as by having a meal or going on a picnic. 

Fathers are extremely important in a family. When there is strife in our family and broken relationships, our role as fathers is vital. Our presence and protection are important; our children need our strength and love as the source of their value and inspiration.

My wife Nittie made Kuway Tiyaw Gai (Picture Above), one of my favorite spicy noodles in Thailand. This is already my Father's Day treat before the day of Father's day tomorrow. Thank you very much.

I've been a father for eight years now. When I think back on the years when our children couldn't help themselves yet (like bathing, eating, pooping, and more) I can't help but thank our Father Almighty. We couldn't afford to get a nanny, so we did almost everything by ourselves. I thank our Abba in Heaven for His strength so I did not get off when we started hitting a bumpy road. I'm sure there will be more to expect on the way and every day I pray for His grace.

If you are a father, Happy Father's Day to you. You are the true superhero to your children and family.

"The righteous man leads a blameless life;

Blessed are his children after him." (Proverbs 20:7

Abba says that our children are heritage and reward from Him (Psalm 127:3). Yes indeed, they are! That truth is totally different from the existing ideas around us. For them, their children are their property but for us, our children are our heaven's gift. So we cherish our children more than we own them.

The picture above speaks lots of truth about us "fathers". We are the history makers. One day our children when they become adults they will remember what we have done for them. They will remember how much we have given our lives for them so they can grow in a family where they are loved, valued, and protected.

I am always contemplating how I can dedicate my best time to my children while they are still young. One day, they will embark on their own paths, pursuing their dreams and starting their own families.

I am reflecting on the profound impact of spiritual values in our culture and homes. Ephesians 6:4 advises fathers, saying, "Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord."

Fathers Our Children Need Us Personally

It is always rewarding to see how fast our children grow and learn. They are no longer what they once were. I have found that every day is a treasure to be cherished.

Regardless of how busy or tired we are, we must always make time for our children. Digital or virtual entertainment programs should not take the place of our quality time with them. We must assist our children in connecting with reality, nature, people, and, most importantly, with our Abba Almighty.

Hearing You Are Loved

No matter how strong or tough we may be, everyone needs to hear that we are loved. We especially need to hear it from our parents. Our hearts long to hear the words "this is my dearly loved son" or "this is my dearly loved daughter." 

If the Son was going to walk confidently and carry the love of the Abba Almighty to humanity, he needed that love from the Father to be established in His heart. Notice in the Scripture that love was expressed through spoken words. The Son needed to hear His Father speaks love to Him.
